Be Our Guest at the 2019 Western Foot and Ankle Conference

You already know that the cadaver lab is an important element of the first year of medical school – this is your chance to view residents and surgeons perform “practice surgeries” in a real surgical workshop! Interested? You’re invited to Be Our Guest at The 2019 Western Foot and Ankle Conference! This interactive session will be held in Anaheim, CA at Disneyland Hotel and Convention Center on Friday, June 21st from 7AM to noon. All interested students are welcome to register and join us for this special early morning event!

Be Our Guest is an exciting look inside the world of podiatric medicine. Attendees will be introduced to careers in podiatric medicine by one of our DPM Network Speakers, meet current students, and have a guided tour of the Exhibit Hall. This special interactive session will also offer a Sports Medicine Taping Workshop AND a Suture Workshop. Additionally, there will be representatives from several colleges of podiatric medicine on hand to answer questions about admissions, clinical shadowing opportunities, scholarships and much more!

This complimentary session will feature: • Introduction to careers in podiatric medicine • Interactive activities led by podiatric physicians, and • Get hands on in a Sports Medicine Taping Workshop and Suturing Lab
